Auto Attendant
Allworx comes complete with up to nine Auto Attendants that
ensures your calls are answered — and handled in a timely,
professional manner. Callers hear a custom greeting that you
record, and can dial by name, by extension, or from the company
directory. Of course, they can always reach an operator or
designated staff person.
Call Reporting
We've made it easy for your administrator to access and analyze
call data. With a few clicks, you can see details of every call
— including the caller, time, length, and the total number of
calls.
Call Routing
With seven customizable routing options, your call routes can
match your presence management settings (e.g., "Out of Office,"
"In a Meeting"). Just use a simple drop-down menu or your phone
to direct your calls any way you choose. This ensures that your
customers and employees can find you when they need to.
CO Line Support
The Allworx comes with support for up to nine Central Office
(CO) lines for the 10x and six for the 6x. You also have the
option of adding lines.
Direct Inward Dial
This function allows extensions to be used as direct phone
numbers, and can give your system the appearance of being a much
larger one. With DID, customers dial a number that appears to be
a direct line (555-1234) and sent to your main exchange
(555-1000), the digits 1234 are transmitted to Allworx then
routed to that extension. This gives the impression of hundreds
of direct dial lines, when in fact, you only have a few CO lines
that route those calls.
Fax Support
You can connect your fax machine directly to the Allworx unit
and create a dedicated fax line. For added flexibility, that
line is automatically used for outgoing calls when it is not
faxing.
PBX & Key System Features
You can mix and match your favorite features from both PBX and
Key systems. High—end functions include call forwarding options,
call hunt, and call waiting, and everything in between. It
supports multiple-line phones, and is password protected for
security and easy management. The system can support up to three
simultaneous conference calls for the 10x and eight simultaneous
conference calls for the 6x.
Phone Support for Users and Extensions
The Allworx system provides flexible configuration options — the
Allworx 10x supports up to 100 users with analog or VoIP phones,
in any combination and 100 extensions. The Allworx 6x supports
up to 30 users and 30 extensions. These users have full access
to system features like unified messaging and calendars and each
user gets their own extension.

Internet Call Access
Sold as an option, our Internet Call Access software allows you
to send and receive phone calls over the Internet. This software
option is needed when you want to connect the Allworx system to
an ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider). |
VPN
(Virtual Private Network)
Sold as an option, our VPN (Virtual Private Network) software
allows users to gain access to the company’s network from remote
locations. This software is used when you have a need access to
the company’s network that’s behind the Allworx firewall.
A virtual private network
allows users at designated remote locations to access the office
intranet over a secure connection at a lower cost than leased
lines or other alternatives.
The Allworx VPN can
extend the reach of your secure infrastructure in these ways:
For staff members
on travel: For example, when an
employee is traveling and needs access to files stored on the
company intranet, with Allworx VPN and a laptop, the employee
can access the company files with no loss in company security.
For home office
access: with Allworx VPN
installed on their home computer, an employee can work at home,
at his or her convenience, with full, secure access to the
company intranet and files.

Call
Assistant
The Allworx Call Assistant allows operators or receptionists to
monitor the state of every line in the system and to efficiently
dispatch calls by answering, transferring, parking or sending to
voicemail. Call Assistant is a fully integrated PC software tool
which makes the operator's tasks easy and efficient. This
intuitive software is designed to work in combination with the
Allworx VoIP phones using any of the Allworx systems.

Queing
Ideal for managing and distributing incoming calls so you can

be customized to your business needs.
